SIA Cargo revenue down despite slight yield gain
The Singapore Airlines Group earned an operating profit of SG$39 million (US$31.2 million) in the first quarter of the 2014-15 financial year, $43 million (-52.4 per cent) lower than last year. The latest figures from Hong Kong's Census & Statistics Department indicate a growing importance of the airfreight industry in the territory as a proportion of overall trade.
