HAECO America has signed an agreement with 321 Precision Conversions to provide heavy maintenance and structural modifications for its Airbus A321 aircraft passenger-to-freighter conversions. Routes from Asia spur cargo growth at Brussels Airport
Brussels Airport saw cargo volumes continue its growth trajectory in August, up 35 percent compared to the same month last year, as new routes from Asia led to 40 percent growth in its full freighter segment. DHL Express has introduced a AI-powered (artificial intelligence) robotic arm in Asia Pacific that can automate the process parcel sortation as it looks to handle greater volumes, particularly during peak season in the region. ANA forwarder unit to launch e-commerce service
ANA Group's forwarding unit Overseas Courier Service (OCS) is set to launch a new service on September 15 dedicated to supporting cross-border transport for e-commerce cargo and parcels from Japan. ANA said the service, called iEC, will focus on South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore, and gradually expand into the US and Europe and eventually into China this year.
