JD Logistics raises US$3.1b in IPO, launches charter flights
Chinese e-commerce giant JD has opened an air cargo route to Thailand and will operate all-cargo charter flights between Shenzhen and Bangkok starting 28 May, marking its first in the Asia Pacific region. Cathay airlifts 300,000 test kits from Portland to India
Cathay Pacific Cargo is further supporting relief efforts in India with an airlift of 300,000 Covid-19 testing kits donated by the state of Oregon. The airline, together with air forwarder Expeditors and logistics company Davis Trucking, partnered with the Oregon Health Authority and Department of Administrative Services to offer the shipping services for free. Emirates restarts flights to support New Zealand exports
Emirates SkyCargo restarted cargo flights to New Zealand in early May using its passenger aircraft, as part of the country’s International Airfreight Capacity Scheme (IAFC) to connect exporters with the international market.
