APAC airports report marginal growth in April
Air freight in Asia-Pacific experienced marginal growth of 2.6 per cent year-over-year for the month of April, reported Airports Council International (ACI). The slowing down in freight volumes reflected weaker demands from Europe and slowdown across Asian export markets. ACI: Slowed air freight growth in March
According to the latest statistics from Airports Council International (ACI) World, global air freight volumes grew 1.4 per cent for the month of March, although the first quarter saw an overall increase of 4.7 per cent year over year. Schiphol apoints new cargo director
On 1 August 2015, Jonas van Stekelenburg will be appointed new cargo director of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. He will succeed Enno Osinga, who plans to retire in September 2015.
