The latest figures from the Airports Council International (ACI) show a marginal growth in total air freight traffic worldwide, up 1.1 per cent in March 2016 as compared to the previous year, but largely sustained by domestic growth. ICAO reaches agreement on CO2 emissions standard
Governments, industry and environmental groups meeting at the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) have finalised the design of the first global certification standard for CO2 emissions from new aircraft. Global air freight markets show volumes in decline by 1.3 per cent in November 2015, thereby removing the optimism from the first half of the year, said the Airports Council International in releasing its monthly statistics.
