Pending government approval, Japanese airline ANA will launch daily flights between Tokyo Haneda and Sydney from 11 December 2015. Lufthansa, ANA to launch joint Europe-Asia service
Lufthansa Cargo and All Nippon Airways Cargo will launch joint freight services from Europe to Japan on August 3, eight months after they joined forces on the westbound route. Both airlines are expanding their joint venture for freight consignments to routes from Europe to Japan. All Nippon Airways has been granted antitrust immunity for proposed trans-Pacific cargo joint venture between All Nippon Airways (ANA) and United Airlines (UA) by MLIT (Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism). All Nippon Airways (ANA) has firmed up an order it placed in January for seven A321 aircraft.
