Air New Zealand said Tuesday that it will consolidate its short-range fleet around Airbus aircraft saying it will buy 14 new Airbus A320 aircraft to replace its current domestic fleet of 15 Boeing 737-300 aircraft. AMERICAS: LAN Cargo sees 8% cargo drop in Sept
LAN Airlines said that cargo traffic decreased eight per cent in September, compared with the previous year. This decrease was mainly due to the slowdown in import and export markets in LatinAmerica, as well as the reduction of salmon exports from Chile, the carrier said.
