‘Dynamic load factors’ more realistic for air cargo, TIACA says
TIACA is calling for the use of the dynamic load factor methodology as the industry standard for measuring the utilisation of air cargo capacity. Introduced in 2019 by CLIVE Data Services, this methodology measures how full an aircraft is by considering both freight volume and weight. AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) relied on its 30 years of experience in oversized and superheavy air cargo transport in masterminding the delivery of 16-metre-long special cargo from Frankfurt to Zhengzhou. Dimerco nabs contract to deliver choppers from Canada to China
Freight forwarder Dimerco has won global bids to provide supply chain services for a "leading helicopter assembly, refitting and operation company in China." The contract involves shipping nearly 30 Bell 407 helicopters from Canada to China by the end of 2020.
