KWE opens Chinese warehousing firm
Japanese forwarder, Kintetsu World Express (KWE), has established its own warehousing company within the Xiamen bonded area in China's Fujian Province, which will target the logistics needs of electronic component makers. Menlo Worldwide said it will buy Cougar Logistics Corporation Ltd. for $33.9 million, including a $28.2 million cash payment to Cougar and the assumption of $5.7 million in debt.
