The incoming Dutch government has called off the planned sale of a minority stake in Amsterdam airport operator Schiphol Group, Reuters quoted Dutch TV channel NOS as saying, which cited unnamed sources. Vatry reports growth in regular cargo traffic
Freight traffic carried on scheduled services to and from Vatry airport last year totalled 33,000 tonnes, an increase of 12.3 percent on 2005. India last month started work on a project that will enable New Delhi airport to handle 37 million passengers a year by 2010, more than double its current capacity, aviation officials were quoted as saying by Gulf Daily News. There are plans to build two new domestic airports in the Riyadh region in Saudi Arabia, the Khaleej Times reported.
