Airbus, Malaysia Airlines extend FHS components contract
Airbus and Malaysia Airlines have signed an extension of their flight hour services components (FHS-C) contract for the carrier's fleet of A330 and A350. The agreement was signed in Kuala Lumpur by Malaysia Airlines operations chief Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi and Airbus president for Asia-Pacific, Anand Stanley. IATA: Asia Pacific air cargo demand up 10.5 percent in Feb
Asia Pacific’s airlines saw demand for international air cargo rise 10.5 percent in February compared to the same month in 2019 according to the latest data from International Air Transport Association (IATA). Energy conglomerate Shell has invested in sustainable fuel producer LanzaJet to accelerate the commercialisation of the latter’s alcohol-to-jet technology and scale up the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to drive the decarbonisation of the aviation industry.
