The official launch of Taiwan-based China Airlines’ route to Seattle, USA, represents a new addition to its North American network. President Kao, Shing-Hwang personally flew aboard flight CI022 departing from Taipei to attend the celebrations in Seattle. China Airlines bets on cargo with new B777F batch order
China Airlines has set its eyes on growing its cargo business as the airline ordered four more Boeing 777F long-haul freighters, with deliveries scheduled starting 2023 until 2024. The Taiwanese carrier, which also has 18 747Fs, has already ordered six of the twin-engine Boeing cargo jets.Three have been delivered so far with two more slated for 2022 and one more lined-up in 2023.
