Continental Airlines yesterday reported a third-quarter net loss of US$236 million, reversed from a US$241 million profit a year earlier. Americas: Continental cashes in on bag-check fees
Continental Airlines said recently it expects to see US$100 million in revenue and cost savings related to a new US$15 dollar bag-check fee. The fourth-largest US airline also said it is comfortable with its bookings over the next six weeks.
