SIA Cargo moves first batch of Covid-19 vaccines to Singapore

Singapore Airlines (SIA) delivered the first shipment of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccines to Singapore, marking a crucial step to inoculate the population. The vaccine shipment, the first to be delivered to a country in Asia, was carried by SIA’s Boeing 747-400 freighter, SQ7979. DHL Express kicks off global vaccine distribution, makes first stop in Israel

DHL has started the global distribution of life-saving vaccines, with the first batch of Pfizer doses for Israel arriving at Ben Gurion International Airport on 9 December.
