A cargo plane with engine and landing gear problems made an emergency landing in March on the frozen surface of a lake outside the Estonian capital, authorities said. Australia has moved to ban older “marginally noise-compliant†aircraft, such as Boeing 727 Freighters, from major airports from 1 July.
