CEB transports donations on new A330 delivery
Cebu Pacific (CEB), in cooperation with the Airbus Corporate Foundation and Aviation Sans Frontières, transported 2.4 tonnes of donations including clothing and medical supplies, on-board its newest A330 aircraft. Airbus sets new record in deliveries in 2014
Airbus has exceeded its targets for 2014, achieving a new record of 629 aircraft deliveries for 89 customers of which eight are new, comprising 490 A320 Family aircraft, 108 A330s, 30 A380s and A350 XWB. This production achievement means that Airbus’ aircraft deliveries in 2014 were up for the 13th year in a row, surpassing the previous record set in 2013. A350-900 receives EASA type certification
The A350-900 has received type certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The certified aircraft is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification will follow shortly. The EASA A350-900 type certificate was signed by EASA’s executive director, Patrick Ky.
