Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) on 17 April signed an agreement with Sharp Technics K and Incheon International Airport Corporation, to establish a facility for the passenger-to-freighter conversion of Boeing 777-300ERSF aircraft ,dubbed the Big Twin, in South Korea. Swissport is growing its business in northeast Asia as it extended key contracts in Japan and South Korea with partner airlines and integrators. Korean Air flies ‘preighter’ to Miami on longest nonstop flight
Korean Air flew its longest non-stop flight since its establishment in 1969 using a passenger plane converted to a freighter. Its cargo flight KE8047, which left Incheon Airport (ICN) on June 12 at 9:14 pm, arrived at Miami Airport (MIA) after flying 13,405 km for a duration of 14 hours and 42 minutes. Vietjet to resume return flights between Vietnam and South Korea
Vietjet will officially restart frequent return flights between Seoul and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) from 7 October. The carrier will operate one flight from HCMC to Seoul (Incheon) on Wednesdays from 30 September, whilst the frequent flight from Seoul to HCMC will be in service from 7 October every Wednesday.
