The 747 has played a key role in Boeing's history of aerospace leadership. On 6 December, the last produced widebody aircraft bid adieu to the widebody factory in Everett, Washington. Cainiao Network is extending its partnership with Atlas Air with the launch of a new air freight route connecting Hong Kong to Bogotá, Colombia, using the latter’s 747-8F plane. Aircraft lessor and ACMI operator Atlas Air has taken delivery of a new Boeing 747-8 freighter, which it will operate on behalf of Alibaba logistics arm Cainiao Network under a long-term agreement. Kuehne+Nagel to offer B747-8F charter services starting Q3
Kuehne+Nagel has inked a long-term charter agreement with Atlas Air to operate the last two nose-loading Boeing 747-800F freighters to be produced by Airbus. The Swiss freight forwarder will charter the entire capacity of these widebody freighters starting the third and fourth quarter of this year.
