Royal Brunei Airlines last week announced the appointment of Captain Sabirin Hj Abd Hamid as its new chief executive officer, effective 1 November 2022. Captain Sabirin has been the acting CEO for the airline since 11 October 2021. Prior to the post, he held the chief operations post from January 2021. JD Logistics launches SZX-HGH air freight service
JD Logistics Airlines (formerly known as JD Airlines) has launched a self-owned all-cargo route on 22 November between Shenzhen in Guangdong province and Hangzhou in Zhejiang province in east China. The first flight took off from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport to Hangzhou International Airport at 1:30AM local time on 2 November, and then flew back to Shenzhen and landed at 7:50AM. Kuehne+Nagel is glad to welcome its first Boeing 747-8 freighter complete with company livery as part of a long-term charter agreement with Atlas Air. The Swiss transport and logistics provider is expanding its air freight network by chartering the entire capacity of the very last two 747-8F aircraft produced.
