WebCargo pioneers digital interlining for air cargo

WebCargo by Freightos is introducing a new functionality in the cargo booking platform that will streamline interlining between airline partners and reduce the time to book interline shipments from days to seconds. Turkish Cargo joins Freightos platform WebCargo

Turkish Cargo has signed up with Freightos Group’s WebCargo and is set to start selling capacity on the e-booking platform in Spain and India, with further rollouts to several countries, according to a press release. The airline said that with its shift to e-bookings, more than 20 percent of its global air cargo capacity will now be digitized, providing more than 2,000 forwarders on WebCargo with instant access to capacity and pricing.
