Deutsche Bahn’s logistics subsidiary Schenker has filed a lawsuit against certain air cargo carriers operating in the US market, allegedly claiming damages for illegal fixing fuel and security surcharges for shipments from, to and within the US from 1999 until at least 2006. DB Schenker has extended its involvement in the Korean logistics market with the start of operations of Schenker Korea Ltd's semiconductor distribution centre at its Korea Logistics Center in the Free Trade Zone at Incheon Airport. Schenker adds HK to paper-free target
Schenker Australia has added Hong Kong to destinations using paper-free airfreight shipments from Australia. Last month the company successfully completed first trial shipments with electronic freight documentation on the routes Sydney-Singapore-Sydney with Singapore Airlines and Sydney-Hong Kong-Sydney with Qantas.
