Qantas has announced new freight schedules between Australia, Hong Kong and New Zealand to support new and growing customer demand. On 5 August 2024, the Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) from Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand and Singapore and the national flag carriers Qantas, Air New Zealand, Garuda and Singapore Airlines launched user-preferred routing (UPR) trials on 38 different scheduled routes between cities in Australia/New Zealand and Indonesia/Singapore. Qantas to launch new route from Manila to Brisbane

Qantas A330s to undergo conversion for ecommerce cargo

Qantas will convert two of its Airbus A330-200 passenger aircraft into freighters to support the significant shift towards consumers shopping online.
