Garuda teams up with Cardig in cargo

Indonesian flag carrier Garuda Indonesia has signed an agreement with local cargo carrier Cardig Air to coordinate on cargo shipping throughout the region. During the initial stage of cooperation that will take effect in July, Garuda will have the rights to sell freight space aboard Cardig Air flights that serve routes to Surabaya, East Java, Denpasar, Bali, and Dili in Timor Leste. Garuda reconfirms 60 Beoing aircraft order

Garuda to launch JKT-Nagoya service

Garuda Indonesia will introduce Jakarta-Nagoya route in April 2015, to meet market demand and broaden its flight network in Japan. Garuda delays London service due to Jakarta runway problem

Due to runway problems at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Garuda Indonesia has been forced to postpone its new service to London, which had initially been planned for 2 November 2013. Four Indonesian carriers off EU ‘black-list’
