Schiphol Cargo posts solid year after 5 months of growth
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol finished 2015 with a total throughput of 1,621,097 tonnes of air cargo – only marginally (0.7 per cent) down on the all-time record set in 2014. A strong fourth quarter saw the Q3 year-on-year deficit of 1.44 per cent after Q3 halved. Schiphol cargo closes gap in Q3
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol’s cargo tonnage trends moved closer to those of 2014 in the third quarter of 2015, narrowing the deficit to 1.44 per cent year to date. Q3 saw a total of 409,034 tonnes of cargo handled through the airport, fractionally (0.08 per cent) down on the same period of 2014. Skylink Handling appointed IAG cargo handler at Schiphol
Skylink Handling Services B.V., the ground handling division of the Rhenus Group, has been appointed by IAG Cargo as its air cargo handler at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Qatar commences Doha-Amsterdam flights
Qatar Airways has commenced services between Amsterdam and Doha with the inaugural flight landing at Schiphol Airport on 16 June, welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute.
