Hamad International Airport (HIA) successfully conducted its Emergency Exercise ‘Delta Oryx 2017’ in May 2017 in Doha. Qatar Airways has commenced services between Amsterdam and Doha with the inaugural flight landing at Schiphol Airport on 16 June, welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute. Qatar Airways, the global launch customer of the A350 XWB, has chosen Philadelphia to be the first destination it will fly to in the USA using the aircraft. Qatar to increase capacity to Bengaluru
Qatar’s national airline is continuing its expansion plans in India with a significant increase in capacity on its flights from Doha to Bengaluru from 1 August 2015.
