Singapore Airlines is in discussions with Airbus and Boeing to revive its 19-hour flight from Singapore to New York, according to Bloomberg.  When it was offered, this 9,000 nautical mile direct flight between Newark Liberty International Airport and Changi Airport was the longest commercial flight in the world. Changi cargo drops

Singapore Changi Airport handled 155,000 tonnes of cargo in July 2014, a decline of 2.4 per cent from a year ago. Flight movements dipped 2.6 per cent to 28,200 during the month. For the period of January to July 2014, aircraft landings and takeoffs grew by 2.1 per cent to 199,900. Changi wins King Hussein Airport job

Singapore ’s Changi Airpor t Consultants has been awarded the contract to masterplan the expansion of King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, Jordan. CAI will draw up three potential plans for the expansion, which will project the facilities needed at the airport for the next 20 years.
