ABC tonnage up 16% in 2015 so far

AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has continued its strong operating performance with tonnage up 16 per cent in the first five months of 2015. In the January-May period, the airline transported 180,605 tonnes across its global route network linking Europe, Asia and the USA via Russia. Schiphol tonnages hit by slowing Chinese output

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol’s cargo throughput totalled 385,842 tonnes in the first three months of 2015, down 1.8 per cent on 2014. Munich airport sets record tonnages

Munich airport saw total 2014 cargo volumes increase eight per cent over prior year to a record 291,000 tons. When airmail is included, the cargo volume handled at the Bavarian hub exceeded 309,000 tons, with 85 per cent being bellyhold cargo on intercontinental flights. Record freight results from Dubai World Central

Freight volumes and passenger traffic at Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central (DWC) reached record levels in 2014, according to the fourth quarter and year-end traffic report released today by operator Dubai Airports. Heathrow sees 3.3% cargo growth in January

Cargo at London Heathrow airport grew 3.3 per cent to 115,847 tonnes in January, compared with the same month in 2014. The January results included increases of 54.0 per cent to Mexico, 28.6 per cent to Brazil, 11.3 per cent to India and 11.2 per cent to Turkey. PACTL sets new record for freight volumes in 2014

Shanghai Pudong Int’l Airport Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd. (PACTL) has achieved tonnage growth of 16.15 per cent year-on-year, reaching a total figure of 1,502,113 tonnes of freight in 2014.
