Hong Kong sees 21.0 percent jump in freighter traffic for July

Hong Kong International Airport saw freighter movements jump 21.0% year-on-year in July as exports and imports climbed 7% and 4%, respectively, data from the Airport Authority Hong Kong showed. Munich airport sets record tonnages

Munich airport saw total 2014 cargo volumes increase eight per cent over prior year to a record 291,000 tons. When airmail is included, the cargo volume handled at the Bavarian hub exceeded 309,000 tons, with 85 per cent being bellyhold cargo on intercontinental flights. Lufthansa Cargo reports 2.7% dip in 2014 volumes

Despite a slight decline in transported cargo volume, Lufthansa Cargo said it was able to maintain its capacity utilisation last year with a cargo load factor of 69.7 per cent (2013: 69.9 per cent). Emirates announced its half-yearly results which show steady performance and growth, despite a challenging business environment. Middle East air cargo surges 17% in September

Air cargo volumes in the Middle East recorded the strongest growth in September than in other region, according to new data released by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). NOL reduces YTD core EBIT loss

Singapore-based NOL group has reported a net loss of US$23 million in the third quarter of 2014, and for the year to date a core EBIT shortfall of US$59 million, 31 per cent less than for the same period last year.
