Lufthansa Cargo opens pharma hubs in Munich and Chicago

Munich Airport welcomes more airlines in its flight plan

Following the easing of travel restrictions throughout Europe, Air Canada, Emirates, Etihad, Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines are back in the list of airlines landing at Munich Airport, a press release confirmed.  Munich Airport has also welcomed the return of Egyptair and Tunis Air in its flight plan. Munich Airport announces half-year results 2020

After years of continuous traffic growth, the global spread of the coronavirus has caused passenger numbers at Munich Airport to drop again for the first time: Passenger volume fell by around 15 million to just under 7.8 million in the first half of 2020 – a reduction of two-thirds compared to the previous year’s level. United Airlines reinstates three flights a week from Munich to Washington

From Munich across the pond: Effective immediately, US airline United Airlines is resuming its flight connection to Washington. A Boeing 787-9 will take off for the American capital at 12:20 every Friday, Sunday, and Monday. Additional flights with United to Newark are to be added in August. Munich Airport’s Terminal 1 will be back in operation starting in July
