Vietjet posts US$48 million loss in Q2 with revenue down 54 percent
Hanoi-based low-cost carrier Vietjet posted VND1,122 billion (around US$48 million) in operating losses for the second quarter, as air transport revenue slumped 54% YoY to VND1,970 billion (around US$84.5 million), a press release confirmed. ABC tonnage up 16% in 2015 so far
AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has continued its strong operating performance with tonnage up 16 per cent in the first five months of 2015. The first A350 XWB for Vietnam Airlines has completed its first flight in Toulouse on Monday bearing the airline’s blue and gold lotus livery. The aircraft will now enter the final phase of production, including cabin completion, as well as further ground and flight tests. AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) is extending its global network to Vietnam with the launch of twice-weekly freighter services from Hanoi, starting on 1 April, 2015.
