Volumes making slight recovery, yields still under pressure: IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight markets in January showing a rise in freight tonne kilometers (FTK) of 2.7 per cent compared to January 2015. This continues the improving trend witnessed toward the end of 2015, and is the fastest pace since April of last year. Total FTKs in January surpassed the previous … [Read more...] about Volumes making slight recovery, yields still under pressure: IATA
Get used to "new normal" of cargo growth warns IATA

Cargo continues to flat line, outlook “very difficult”: IATA
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) released data for global air freight markets showing that air cargo volumes measured by freight tonne kilometers rose just 0.5 per cent in October compared to a year ago. Year-on-year expansion fell back from September’s faster growth rate with total cargo volumes in October shrinking 1.1 per cent from the peak of the uptrend at the end of 2014.
