WFS Ground Italy sold to Inceptus SpA
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) sold its ground handling business in Italy to Inceptus SpA. The sale of WFS Ground Italy to Inceptus SpA was completed on 19 May 2017, and WFS will no longer be involved in ground handling activities in Italy. WFS wins PIA contract for cargo handling, trucking in UK
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has won a three-year contract to provide cargo handling and trucking services for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in the UK. WFS will handle export and import cargo for PIA’s wide-bodied flights at London Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester, connecting customers in the UK with Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. FCS, WFS merger at Frankfurt complete
The operations of FCS Frankfurt Cargo Services GmbH and WFS Worldwide Flight Services in Frankfurt have been fully merged following the takeover of FCS by WFS a few months ago. Since 1 February 2016 FCS has been in charge of the WFS handling - with physical handling carried out by FCS using its warehouse facilities. Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is to acquire a 51 per cent shareholding in Fraport Cargo Services (FCS) as part of a strategic partnership with Fraport AG.
