FedEx Express has announced the promotions of Hamdi Osman to senior vice president of the Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Africa, and Jacques Creeten to vice president of India.
Osman began his employment at FedEx in 1978 as a truck washer. Following several positions in the US, Osman moved to the Middle East in 1991, where he became managing director for the Middle East and Indian subcontinent region. In 1997 he became vice president, operations, Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Africa.
Jacques Creeten joined FedEx in 1985 and has held various positions in Belgium, Italy, Turkey, and Dubai before moving to India in 1999 as managing director operations for the Indian subcontinent. In 2005, he became managing director, sales & marketing with responsibility for all FedEx sales and marketing activities across the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa region.
In another appointment, FedEx Express has named Marco Lee vice president, sales, for China, and Kevin O’Hearn as vice president, sales for North and South Pacific and global sales in Asia Pacific.
O’Hearn will continue to work directly with multinational customers’ senior management based in the region.
