Singapore Airlines’ subsidiary Singapore Airport Terminal Services (SATS) said that its president and chief executive, Ng Chin Hwee will soon leave the company to take up a senior position at SIA. SATS said Ng will be promoted to his, as yet undisclosed, new position, in due course.
It added that a search committee had started to look for a successor to Ng, who will stay in his current position until his replacement has been found.
During his tenure as SATS CEO, Ng has spearheaded the company’s overseas expansion in India, the Middle East and China, establishing joint ventures in ground handling activities and in-flight catering.
