This year’s 35th Executive Council Meeting (ECM) and Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Federation of Asia Pacific Aircargo Agents Associations (FAPAA) will be hosted by the Thailand Airfreight Forwarders Association (TAFA).

The event will take place in Bangkok, but at press time the TAFA organising committee could not confirm in which hotel the gathering would be held.

The dates of FAPAA’s main event have been set between June 20 – 22, with the traditional golf tournament taking place on June 20. The ECM will start on the 21st and continue through the 22nd. The ECM will be followed by the AGM on the 22nd.

FAPAA secretary general, Brian Lovell said that the International Air Transport Association (IATA) will again be a prominent invited guest to update the attending members on matters such as the E-freight programme and the accompanying message improvement programme (MIP).
