Mumbai-based Jet Airways has announced the appointment of Jay Shelat,as vice president cargo.

Shelat joins Jet Airways after a successful 20-year career with FedEx and American Airlines Cargo, where his latest position was manager alliances& interline.

In a statement, the airline’s chief commercial offi cer, Garry Kingshott said that Shelat has been tasked with leading the cargo team in ensuring that Jet Airways realise its full potential in the lucrative cargo market.
