The Air Freight Asia 2007 Conference is rapidly fi rming up with several leading executives confi rming their attendance in the past three weeks. Among them are TIACA chairman, Jack Boisen, who will discuss the subject of air freight liberalisation with Cargolux CEO, Uli Ogiermann, Emirates Skycargo senior vice president Ram Menen and Northwest Cargo president,Jim Friedel.
Joining the Round Table Discussion on September 4 is former DHL executive and former CNS chairman, Guenter Rohrmann, who will join Traxon’s managing director Felix Keck and the chairman of the Hong KongShippers’ Council, Willy Lin.
On September 5, the conference will be chaired by industry veteran Ludwig Bertsch and delegates will be able to hear the vision behind the massive Dubai Logistics City presented by Michael Proffi tt, who has agreed to join the session “The Boom or Bust Scenariofor Airports”.
Dubai Logistics City is also exhibiting its impressive project at Air Freight Asia at a 180 sqm booth opposite theEmirates SkyCargo exhibit.
Other panel members in this session include Philippe de Backer, CEO of Loedige Industries, Han Wei, director& general manager of Beijing Groundservices, and last but not least, LilianChan, general manager marketing &customer service of HACTL.
Unisys president global transportation, Olivier Houri has accepted the invitation to join the session “To Feed or not to Feed”, which also include Boeing’s James Edgar, Robert Strodel and BAE Systems Regional Aircraft regional vice president sales & marketing, Steve Doughty.
New panel members joining the Round Table Discussion of the second day of the Conference include Michael Steen, senior vice president of Atlas Air and Onno Boots, regional vice president Southeast Asia of TNT Express.
Compared with previous events, this year’s Conference will feature just 30 speakers and panel members in order to allow delegates ample time for networking at the Air Freight Asia exhibition as well as at the Asian Aerospace Expo, which take place in the same venue.
Conference chairmen, speakers and delegates will be invited to attend the Asian Aerospace Gala reception on September 3, which will take place in the exhibition area of the AsiaWorld- Expo facilities.
