Globe Express Services (GES) has opened new offi ces in Hanoi, Chennai and Bangalore. The Hanoi offi ce started operations last month. The move comes a year after the company’s Ho Chi Minh branch was granted joint venture statusby the central Vietnamese government.

"Globe Express Services believes in the growth potential of Vietnam as an emerging economy," commented Georges Mejaes, the company’s regional director, Far East. "Many of our customers have expressed a strong interest in Vietnam suppliers and we want to ensure we are well positioned in this particular market."

Globe Express is also adding two new offi ces in Chennai and Bangalore, in the southern part of India. With these two new offi ces, Globe Express Services now has a total of seven offi ces in India, the others being in Mumbai, Tuticorin, Cochin, Tirupur and Coimbatore.
