The Singapore government’s Changi Airports International (CAI) is keen to jointly bid with Tata Real Estate to develop three airports at Shimoga, Gulbarga and Bijapur in the Indian state of Karnataka, Bernama News Agency reported. CAI regional vice-president Ng Tim Peng said the state government had invited Singapore to bid last month – “We have not received the bid documents yet but we have been asked tosubmit the expression of interest.
“We are not sure if it is BOT (buildoperate- transfer) or BOO (build-ownoperate),” he said, adding that Changi wanted to see what bid model the state government wanted it to participate in before making any decision.
