Airports of Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Macau, Shenzhen and Zhuhai have agreed to establish the Pearl River Delta Airports Cooperation Forum, a standing organisation to facilitate closer co-operation. Representatives from the airports signed a resolution for the forum establishment at a seminar in Hong Kong last month to expand infl uence of the region’s aviation and airport industry to other regions, and establish communication with overseas and Mainland counterpart organisations.

The new organisation will promote co-operation and development of the region’s aviation industry, enhance effective use of regional civil-aviation resources, and support the region’s sustainable economic development.
