FedEx has expanded its facility at Bahrain International Airport, with a greater number of trucking routes introduced from the cargo centre and a drop-off point allowing customers to quickly deposit their shipments. “This expansion is a direct result of growing demand for services we provide across Bahrain and the GCC. It also signals the importance of Bahrain as a major trucking gateway for FedEx to neighbouring countries,” said Hamdi Osman, senior vice president, FedEx Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Africa. The facility at Bahrain International Airport is located within the Global Logistics Services (GLS) bonded area.
