With an investment of more than 7 million euros over the next four years, TNT has announced another fi rst in Asia with the launch of its domestic express services and solutions in Vietnam in response to increasing demand from customers in the region. Part of the investment will go towards additional vehicles and new staff. The company will also open fi ve more branches in Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Vinh, An Giang and Ca Mau province to support the service, which will increase the total number of TNT’s branches in Vietnam to 23. AaE expands freight service Australian air Express (AaE), the joint venture between Qantas and Australia Post, has announced an agreement with Queenslandbased MacAir Airlines, which will see AaE further expand its express air freight services in regional and far north Queensland. The deal gives AaE exclusive access to cargo space on MacAir passenger fl ights from Townsville to Mt Isa, as well as other MacAir routes connecting major hubs in north Queensland including Townsville, Cairns, Mt Isa, Cloncurry, Burketown and Mornington Island.
