Transmile Group Bhd last month announced the resignation of its chief executive offi cer Gan Boon Aun. Gan, who holds 7.71 million ordinary shares in the air freight carrier, was also the founder of the Transmile group, the company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.

He has been charged together with two other directors, chief fi nancial offi cer Lo Chok Ping and executive director Khiudin Mohd for helping to make a “misleading” statement on its 2006 revenue.

The three directors may be fi ned at least M$1 million and jailed for as long as 10 years if found guilty.
