In the face of persistent industry gloom, Singapore Airlines Cargo has commenced B747-400 freighter flights to the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo, Quito in Ecuador, and Bogota in Colombia. The cargo division began operating the services from 7 February under a special approval granted by the aviation authorities in these countries.
