Lufthansa Cargo has been given us Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) approval for new security technologies aimed at enhance the screening of air cargo transported by Lufthansa. Over the last 18 months, Lufthansa Cargo and the TSA have been working towards the development of new technologies, the carrier said. “Although the technology and protocols are considered sensitive security information, and are not available for public release, this development has allowed the air cargo industry to move forward in the application of security measures in a manner that limits the impact on the shipping community and at the same time enhances aviation security,” Lufthansa Cargo said in a statement.
