After months of uncertainty following the declaration of its bankruptcy by its parent, Aeroflot Cargo has resumed flying a full freighter schedule. Aeroflot announced late last year that it was closing its separate cargo subsidiary, Aeroflot Cargo, declaring it bankrupt and absorbing back into the main group.

The Russian carrier has been flying a stripped-down schedule since December operating between four and six Asia- Europe freighter flights a week from its European hub at Hahn, Germany.

This has since increased to 10 flights a week, including services to Shanghai and Beijing – which had been dropped from its schedule – as well as Tokyo Narita and Hong Kong.

The cargo division has a fleet of two B737-300 and five MD-11 freighters.
