Existing MRO players have increasingly signed joint venture agreements to set up operations in China. India and the Middle East are now seeing the creation of new MRO facilities as well. Singapore, the largest MRO hub in the Asia Pacific region is furthering its investment in this area as it continues the development of the 300-hectare Seletar Aerospace Park, which aside from MRO activities, will feature manufacturing and other business activities from companies like Rolls Royce, Pratt and Whitney and ST Aerospace.
The MRO Supplement will look at the various developments in the industry, including the impact of last year’s crisis and examine what the prospects are going forward in 2010 and beyond.
