Antti Kuusenmäki will head Finnair Cargo, reporting to Juha Järvinen, Finnair SVP commercial, and managing director of Finnair Cargo.
Finnair Cargo Oy is part of Finnair’s new Commercial Division including Finnair’s Commercial department as well as Finnair Travel Retail, Amadeus Finland, Suntours and SMT. As the head of cargo, Antti also joins the leadership team of Finnair’s Commercial Division.
“Antti Kuusenmäki has extensive airline experience in both cargo and passenger businesses, and now takes leadership of Finnair Cargo at a very intriguing time, as we are preparing for the A350 entry to Finnair fleet with additional cargo capacity, and continue the planning of our new cargo terminal project. Cargo revenue is an important revenue source for Finnair, with approximately 17 per cent of intercontinental revenue coming from cargo, and on Chinese routes it is even higher. I wish Antti all the best in the new job, and am looking forward to continue working closely with the Finnair Cargo teams globally,” says Juha Järvinen, SVP Commercial.
Antti, with a degree Master of Economic Sciences M.Sc. [econ], has worked for Finnair Cargo for two years being responsible for cargo network planning as well as revenue management and product development as the VP cargo network & revenue management. Prior to joining Finnair he worked as commercial director of Flybe Finland.
