A320neo aircraft make up bulk of Airbus’ July deliveries

European aircraft manufacturer Airbus registered 302 net orders as of July-end after 67 cancellations, a press release confirmed. Four new orders were received for the month of July. 

During the month, 49 deliveries were achieved from the A220 and A320 models: two A220-300s to Air Canada and Egypt Air and 47 from the A320neo line, including a first A321neo to Middle East Airlines and Vistara through Air Lease Corporation. 

Airbus’ backlog of aircraft to be delivered as of 31 July stood at 7,539, comprising  524 A220s, 6,125 A320 aircraft (including 6,065 A320neo), 321 A330s (including 286 A330neo), 560 A350 XWBs and nine A380s.
