LATAM Airlines Group has appointed Otávio Meneguette as vice president of LATAM Cargo Brazil. He will be responsible for leading the company’s air cargo business strategy in the Brazilian market.
He will replace Diogo Elias, who has been promoted to sales and marketing director for LATAM Airlines Brazil.
Otávio joined LATAM Airlines Group in 2015, initially working in cargo planning and commercial areas. Since 2019, he had been LATAM Cargo Brazil’s VP for operations.
Otávio has a degree from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (Ufes), a postgraduate degree in finance from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA) and another one in business management from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).
The executive has worked for large corporations such as Suzano Papel & Celulose and Votorantim Cimentos. He also has over 13 years of professional experience in commercial strategy, logistics, supply chain and new business development.
